    Hi All,

This seems such a basic question that it is almost embarrassing to ask. I have been editing for a long time and know FCP fairly well, yet I still can’t figure out how to highlight a clip in the timeline, copy it and then paste it to another tack. I understand destination tracks etc. but setting them doesn’t seem to work. Am I retarded or is it FCP? Hopefully it’s me. It seems like something that should be very obvious, but I haven’t been able to figure it out. Any suggestion? Let me know. Thanks guys…Ian

Never mind. I am an idiot. I knew that as soon as I posted I would figure it out. It’s shift + option +drag, for those of you who may have encountered this problem. Peace…Ian
