December 27, 2010 at 10:18 pmWow, certainly a loss to those that knew him personally as well as those that just knew him via the internet. My thoughts go out to his friends and family.

December 28, 2010 at 1:27 amOh my goodness. This is SO sad. Chris and I had several emails back and forth over the years. He’d contribute to the lafcpug newsletter with a great tip/trick every so often. Very sweet man. Such a tragedy. My best to his family and all that were touched by Chris.

December 28, 2010 at 7:35 pmWhat a wonderful contributor to our FCP community Chris Poisson was. And for me, what a surprise to hear of his passing. I will miss reading his many contributions. Chris’ dedication of time to help many of us find our way through the ever-changing workflows of post production was a wonderful contribution to this online community that surely came from his heart as well as his head.
I’m sure he was a man that his family and friends feel lucky to have had in their lives.
So long, Chris.

I have been offline for several days, and only just saw your post.
Chris and I had gone back and forth here a couple of times.
A genuine tragic death.
He was taken from us way too soon.
My condolences to family, friends, and comrades.

January 3, 2011 at 3:29 pmChris was my friend and professional mentor. He taught me everything about FCP and creative ad design. He will be missed. Thank you David and all who commented as I know he reached out to many people in the COW forum.
