I just started on our first FCPX 10.0.5 project. The IPE is not opening when double clicking on an edit, no matter where and how I try.

Could it be that some functions are nor available in the trial version, which we are running during the test?

    Thank you for your help!

The function is available in the trial version. Is the edit on the primary storyline?

    All the best,

No, it’s in a secondary story line. Does that make a difference?

It doesn’t work in a secondary. Why, I don’t know.

Maybe you can open it in a separate timeline like you do with a compound clip, and do it there?
(Not sure, I haven’t tested this)
