In distress! How to get my XML subs from Jubler to FCP7?
When I try to import my XML subtitles from Jubler to FCP7, it says ‘locate translation document’… Someone suggested changing the first part of the XML file in TextEdit, but that text doesn’t show when I open the document (see below for the suggested change).
Change the entry at the beginning of the XML File from:
xmeml version=”5″ to
xmeml version=”4″Can somebody help me? How do I get from Jubler to FCP, or shouldn’t I be using Jubler in the first place?

No experience of what you are trying to do but you might try TextWrangler to make the changes you mention – there was a similar xml mod to a Motion file to get projects to open in a later version.
