In C4D, this object I opened from someone else’s project seems to disappear as I zoom into it, why?
The file I imported was a .stl… if that may have something to do with it. Here’s a screenshot.

Seems like a clipping plane issue with your camera ..
Go to your current camera settings -> under details tab turn off near clipping .. that should solve it ..
