Importing/Converting creates jagged edges
Hi folk
Yep – a newbie with (hopefully) a basic question. Had wedding footage on a cheap mini DV camera. Got that converted onto a DVD for me – can view nicely on DVD player. Used AVI.net to convert VOB file from DVD into a DivX AVI file. Knowing that I can’t edit that AVI file in Premier Pro, I then used VirtualDub to convert DivX AVI file into uncompressed AVI file using HUFFY codec.
Worked well – got footage into P-PRo edited, added JPG’s and soundtrack. Finally exported to AVI file to find any panning/movement shots displayed jagged edges around objects. It
