    hey guys
    i have done a white background composition in AE
    and when i import it into premiere pro cs5 MAC
    the background is black
    any ideas?

    How did you create this “white background comp”?

    If you did it by merely changing the background color of the composition, that won’t help. The only thing that effects is the matting in alpha channels (assuming you export your AE file that way).
    Anyway, you can create a white solid in Premiere to put behind it if you want.

    If you really want it done in AE, just create a white solid in AE and put it in the background of your comp.
