January 19, 2014 at 10:27 amFor u and others, all premier pro version donor recoganised VOB only premier pro cs5, so when u have it import the folder of the DVD, open the imported folder and Wolla you have it, u can also import direct from the DVD plate without coping into ssytem. Get. Back if it helps. Slimphase saying peace am out. Note changing name of a clip doesn’t change it’s format.

February 20, 2016 at 9:13 amRead 10+ threads in Adobe forum, and I got know Adobe Premiere now does not support VOB import. A workable way is to change VOB files to Premiere Pro CC compatible format.

October 22, 2017 at 12:18 amI pulled a .VOB from one of my DVDs last week and two days later Adobe published 2018. Now I am sunk. I can no longer grab .VOB files from a DVD. Is there a work around such or getting the old PremPro2017 back temporarily?
I’m using windows 7 which has no Dolby decoder. Not keen about upgrading windows right now.
