    Hi.

I have both a Canon XL1s, and a Sony PC110E camera.. Final cut wont even recognize the Canon, but have been working on and off with the Sony.. The thing is that sometimes everything is ok with logging and batch capture from the Sony, but other times it’s just showing the timecode. I’m able to play, stop, fast forward etc and it affects the camera, but I can’t see no images, or hear any sound.. When I try to batch capture it says that there is no video, even though it’s on the right timecode, and I can view it in the LCD screen on my computer..

Systemprofiler found my camera, and as I said. It’s working on and off.. Have no Idea.. Any other suggestions??

I tried deleting some quicktime receipts, but that didn’t work either..

Post more about which version of FCP, OS and QuickTime you are running. Seems QT 7 messed up a lot of camera connections, but it’s fixable if you are running that.

    Hi.. sorry about that….

    FCP 5.0.4
    OSX 10.4.6
    QT 7.1

Oh yes.. And I haven’t reinstalled QT after deleting the receipts… seems I went a little quick around the bend there..

But this problem have been since at least oktober… Don’t know if that will help about the QT thing..
