  importing video from xpress pro to avid 3d

  I am having trouble exporting a video clip from avid to avid 3d. When I export the .aaf to 3d and then try and pull it from my incoming from avid editors video bin, 3d tells me that it has “Failed to open data associated with” and then names my file and where it is. When I export I use the default settings for an .aaf and include the audio, but have tried not including the audio as well with the same message. Am I just missing something very simple here. Any ideas what could be wrong?
