Is there a direct way to import video into Media100HDv11 from a DVD inserted into the mac dvd drive?

We have a standalone player with component output but the Media100HD doesn’t want to sync to it.

    Thanks,
    Jaeson K.

If the content of the DVD is not protected (e.g. Macrovision) you can use MPEG Streamclip. Convert to e.g. DV files which can be read natively by Media 100. The conversion usually is much quicker than realtime (depending on your CPU speed), so you can ingest your DVD content quickly.

Thanks! I found MPEG Streamclip and that did the trick.
