Importing video fro Sony HXR-MC1
Hello,
I just bought a Sony HXR-MC1 and it comes with software to help with importing video clips into a PC but no explanation of how to import the AVCHD files into a Mac to edit in FCP. There is a note in the manual directing you to a website <https://guide.d-imaging.sony.co.jp/mac/ms/us/> that only tells how to import stills into a Mac. When I play back the video in the camera, the pictures look great. I’d love to be able to get them into FCP.
Any help would be greatly appreciated,

You should read up in the manual about log and transfer, assuming you’re using the current version of FCP.
