  • Importing TIF w/ alpha- missing SKY?

    Hi all,
I’ve imported a .TIF sequence of images… if you view the stills in Photoshop, there’s a nice HDRI sky w/ clouds, but in AE, the sky is black. Can’t figure out how to make the sky appear- which is IN the file somewhere… what am I doing wrong?
I’ve tried setting the Project as a 32-bit… and 16-bit… but it’s not working.

    What am I missing?

    Thanks!

    Scott

Sometimes, when rendering 3D, the alpha channel cuts out the background. Try choosing file>interpret footage, and alpha>ignore (or “none”).
