Recently I had an MP4 file that I imported multiple clips from for putting together a quick video. I subsequently converted it to ProRes LT, and I want to re-import it to my timeline, but with all the same in/out points. Is it possible to do that without manually going through the same process of marking each clip’s in/out and importing to the timeline?

If you relink the clips in the timeline to the transcoded version that should work.

You might try using find all to select all of the clips in the timeline that share a common searchable file name and then try to relink them all at once.

I re-linked, and the filenames still show my MP4 ones, even though checking the properties show the ProRes LT clips. Is that to be expected?
