Importing Stills
Nube to Premier – Just switched from FCP.
I’m trying to import a number of jpeg stills into the browser. Some import just fine. On other imports I get an error message that reads, “The video bit depth of this file is not supported” So, in most cases, that file does not import.
Any suggestions greatly appreciated.

Try this. In Photoshop, open your jpgs, go to Image file menu, select Mode – make sure they are 8 bits/channel and RGB.

Does PP have any other preferences when importing stills? How about image size? Also, you specified 8-bit and RGB, but how about b/w stills? FCP switcher here so this is all new to me.
