Importing Red One clips to edit over a preview with prores 422
Hello
Here is the situation
I been shooting a project with a Red One at 4K. I dont have a Mac Pro, I have an Imac. A friend with a Mac pro transfer the 4K clips to prores 422 (HQ) so I can edit with FC and Imac and later export an EDL and get 4K files.
Righ now I just want to edit a teaser . Can I do this with my Imac? I mean, Can I import the 4 K clips over the editing for the teaser I am doing with the proress, I am talking about very few seconds of about 30 Clips. Can I manage that with Imac? I dont have a budget now to take an EDL and do this in a editing roon

You can edit he ProRes fine. Link to the 4K later. But, where will this teaser be shown? Does it need to be 4K? Movie theaters have 2K projectors. TV is 1080i. The web tops out at 1080 too. Why do you need 4K?
