Hi. I haven’t been able to import Pshop files into Boris Red (version 3.0) today. I keep getting a message stating “This file could not be imported because it is not a recognized type or is not readable.” I know I’ve done this in the past – I must be going nuts. Any help would be appreciated. Oh, and I realize I’m behind the times on this system but it keeps plugging away (I will be upgrading over the summer).

First thing to check would be that your PSD has been saved in RGB mode and not, for example, CMYK or LAB. If not, change the mode in Photoshop and save a copy to leave the original intact.

    That should sort you.

    Good luck,
    Ben

Thanks Ben. That was the trick. Any suggestions on importing a PSD so the separate layers import as separate tracks in to Boris?
