importing P2 video and audio files into FCP
I would like to import files downloaded from the p2 cards into FCP, but I have version 5.1 (not 6). Is there a way to do this? Is there some simple program that will allow me to get the footage into 5.1 without having to bite the bullet and buy 6.0?

OF COURSE! P2 support hit with FCP 5.0.4…and was improved in FCP 5.1. Just choose FILE>IMPORT>PANASONIC P2.
