  • Importing multiple images into AE with the photoshop layers remembered??

So I am currently making an animation and importing charcoal drawings Ive done into after effects in multiple sequence which is fine. But the problem I am having is that the photoshop layers aren’t remember like if you import a single picture edited in photoshop into after effects. And so when I cut round each picture in photoshop and then import them all together into after effects the parts of transparency that are normally remembered aren’t. Which means i get all the rest of the picture that I dont need.

I essentially need my character cut away from the rest of the picture that I dont need. So that you can see the backgrounds etc i have done in AE.

If anyone could help/suggest some tips I would be more than grateful!

    thanks

Are you importing them as a Composition or as flattened layers?

Try Import as Composition > Retain Layer Size (CS5)

    OR CS4 <

    Import as Composition >Cropped Layers
