  Importing mpeg-4

  Hello:

  Can Vegas 8.0 import mp4 files? I downloaded the latest version of Quicktime 7.6.4. When I try to either drag or import the .m4a file into the timeline nothing happens. When I look into the properties tag of the file, it lists Vegas as one of the platforms to play on.

  Please advise.
