Importing mp2 – no audio
I am needing to import an mpeg2 (.mpg) file into Final Cut Pro 5 but the audio does not import. Is there anyway I can import it without converting the file to Quicktime (or any other format)? I have several mpeg2 files to change and they will be exported as mpeg2.
I find this process very quick with Adobe Premiere Pro 2.
Surely Final Cut Pro can compete?

Use MpEG streamclip. A free download. Works great!
