Importing merged clips from FCP7 the RIGHT WAY
Hi CC fam,
We are trying to migrate our FCP project over to Premiere 6. Most of the footage has been shot on DSLR with separate audio. Our strategy has been to link the clips, then merge them back into a bin.
For example, the newly merged clips will have 5 tracks of zoom audio, when played back in FCP. Nice and easy.
When we export an XML into Premiere, it brings the new clips in with the original (2 channel stereo) camera audio. No Zoom audio.
How do I get Premiere to bring the merged file over correctly, if possible?

I’ve had the same problem XMLing fcp7 projects to premiere..usually the audio does not show up. very confusing.
