    Importing media into FCP X shows green screen

    I imported media into FCP X from BPAV folders of footage filmed with a Sony EX1, but it only shows a green screen on every single one. All the information is there (which means the media is connected?), but it doesn’t play.

    Maybe a codec is missing? I can only play the files on VLC (nothing happens on QuickTime).

    I’m on one of the latest Mac Book Pro models and I’ve just updated to Mountain Lion.
