Hi, does anyone know how I should import lower 3rds from Motion into FCPro in a transparant way, without the black background ? I know about alpha channels, but somehow I still manage to have a black background when importing in Final Cut… Tx a lot ! Els

In Motion, press command-J to bring up your project properties. Make sure your background id transparent.

As long as you are importing a native .motn file into FCP, that should be all you need to do.

If you are rendering (export), make sure that you are exporting the project with an Alpha channel.

    Hope that helps.
