So I was messing around with the Linear Color Space in After Effects, and was loving how it looked on my Monitor from After Effects.

I’m using Adobe CS5.5 and monitoring through an AJA Kona LHi out HDMI to a Plasma monitor.

When I render it from AE into FCP in any format I’ve tried it ends up looking washed out, or that FCP is improperly reading the color and/or gamma info.

Is there a trick to correct this?

FCP conforms to Rec709 spec in HD. If you want to import a file and have it look the same in FCP then export to that spec.
