i’m having problems importing jpg files into final cut – it seems that every time i try to import a folder and edit the contents it says insufficent edit! do i need to make theses files into movie clips first and if so how do i do that?

any help will be welcomed, thanks.

Jou should basically ve able to import them into the browser with a right-click (or controll click) – import.
Then you can drag the files into the timeline and they should scale to fill the canvas…

You should be able to import the files with no problem. I don’t quite understand how you’re importing a folder. I’d just import all your files into a bin. Make sure the jpg files are RGB though.

Folder imports shouldn’t be a problem with stills – I do it all the time. How exactly are you trying to do the edits?
