I have a fairly complex project in premiere 6.5 that I cannot import into premiere pro 1.5 as when I try it states that an unknown error has occurred. I was thinking of breaking the 6.5 project down into say 10 minutes segments and see if I could import each into premiere pro to see where the problem is as earlier versions of this project will import but it would take a lot of foley work to bring it up to speed.

So is it possible to import several projects into premiere pro and how would I attach them..I mean you have one project on the timeline and you want to add another right behind it..

    thanks

Projects imported into Premiere Pro convert into separate sequences, which can then be manipulated as an entity like any other sequence, or you can delve inside and adjust the detail.
