importing ilustrator circle file
Maybe this is a dumb question, but here goes. I am trying to follow a tutorial that Serge has (Layer Mapping). When I inport the file circle.ai, it looks like a diamond and not a sphere. I am using After Effects ver 7 and the latest 3D invigorator. What am I doing wrong?

HI Dennis,
Nothing’s wrong. You’re probably looking at draft mode without much smoothing. Move the draft mode slider and you’ll see the object change from angled to smooth. Draft mode looks crude to allow for fast animation previews.
Look at best-quality mode and you’ll see the end result.

Where is the draft mode slider located? I see a slider under Vector Shape Object for Draft and Best under Object Faceting. Is this what you were talking about?
