Importing HD into SD Timeline
I am updating a Standard Def commercial I did 8 years ago. The new scene was shot on a Canon 5D Mark II. I know there will be lots of image adjustments to help match, but I need to know how easily the HD Canon scene will merge into the SD timeline (or if it will.) I would appreciate any input.

Why not bring it in and see for yourself?
I hope they shot a matching frame rate. If they shot 23.98 and the spot was 29.97… issue.

Well, we have no clue as we cannot see the quality of the current spot. Nor know what it was shot with. Only you can tell that.
I have mixed 5D with DV…and it is VERY obvious what is DV and what is 5D…
