    Hello!

I’m trying to streamline our process of using video recorded by a Grass Valley Turbo DDR and need some help.

The files created and exported by the Turbo are .mxf. I downloaded and installed the Flip4Mac K2/Profile Component which is supposed to allow you import such things. However, when you go into Final Cut / “Import” and select the Grass Valley option, the .mxf files are not selectable in the Import dialog box (greyed out).

Any ideas on what I can do to get .mxf’s in to FCP?

(I have used MpegStreamClip to do this in the past, but it seems to make files that Final Cut still has a tough time dealing with..(rending after every edit, etc..)

    Thanks!!
    Tim
