importing from Kodak Playsport
I just bought a new Kodak Playsport. When I shoot at 720P60 it will only import at 1080-30. When I shoot at 1080P it comes in at 1080-60. The footage shot at 1080P looks better. However, I had been told in the past to shoot at 720P60 with an earlier model of this camera.
Any recs for what setting to use with this camera to have the best results on FCP?

If you read the post directly above yours, you will understand that this camera along with the million other cameras that claim to shoot HD video does not work directly with FCP 7. You simply can not import the files into FCP and expect your system to work efficiently.
Bottom line, you need to convert the H.264 files from that camera to an FCP friendly codec like ProRes.
You can use the camera directly with FCP X.
