Importing field question
Sometimes it happens that AE import quick times and it has lower field, sometimes upper.
I see these differences by pressing CTRL + F (interprete footage).
The thing is that sometimes the qt with lower field has been exported as upper fielf from avid.
Just wondering if the AE interprete footage works as a default preferences interpreter, so I could change its setting to force it to interprete as upper intead of lower.Any thought?

there is a txt document in your “support files” folder of the installation directory called “interpretation rules.txt”. Tweaking this file can change how AE interprets footage and also force interpretation rules for different types of files.

#new modified values
720, 576, 25, *, * ~ 768/720, U, *, *
720, 576, *, *, * ~ 768/720, U, *, *but when I import a quick time with lower field it sill imports the movie with lower field not upper, as I’ve specified in the lines above.
Where am I wrong? -
any thought?
