importing entire card as one clip
Hi:
I’ve to the HPX 170 and I am new to the P2 media management. Is there anyway to take all the clips from the Log and Transfer window and import them as one entire clip? The reason why is I have shot a wedding and now instead of being able to scrub through one long clip to find my shots I have to open hundreds of individual clips to find my shot. Going through and renaming clips in the log and transfer window will add days to my work flow. I’m finding this is NOT a good media for weddings. I tried putting the clips together in QT pro but it will not import the clips in the order they were shot.
any suggestions… outside of buying a new camera?

Import clips into a real NLE, if sorted by default name they will be in order, select all the clips and place on timeline, export a movie with the same settings.
This is something that should be relatively quick compared to your log and transfer scenario.

Or drop an entire card’s shot onto one timeline and scrub through that…
