I’m working with footage shot on a HDX-900 at 720/59.97p 30 frames. I’m ingesting from the AJ-HD1400 deck through a Kona 3 card. Editing in FCP 6. The footage is interviews and b-roll, so I want to be sure I don’t have sync issues with audio. What should my log and capture setting be, and what should my timeline setting be? Should my sequence setting time base be 59.94 or 29.97? This will eventually export to DVD and Quicktime. Thanks…

The camera menu has a SYSTEM SETTING and CAMERA MODE. SYSTEM SETTING is set for 720-59.94P CAMERA MODE is set for 30P, which in the camera manual says is 30P over 60P. 720-29.97P is not an option on the HDX-900. So, I guess the answer to your question is 720-59.94P.
