  • Importing DNxHD to Adobe Premiere Pro CS6 false Contrast?

Posted by Sam Sanders on August 11, 2012 at 1:53 pm

    Hello,

I´ve got a problem with Adobe Premiere Pro CS6 and DNxHD.

I want to correct a DSLR HD footage in After Effects. After this render it out to DNxHD and import it into Adobe Premiere Pro CS6.

But when I watch the file into Premiere Pro the contrast isn´t right anymore. I´ve got a extrem contrast. When I watch the same file into QuickTime or import it agian in After Effects everything is fine.

What I´m doing wrong? Please help.

Okay I´ve got it. I have to change color levels to RGB Levels in DnxHD Codec Configuration.

    Hello,

    Where do you do that?

    Thanks!

Keep in mind that rendering in DNxHD will clip the whites at 100–at least it does if you render thru AME–
