  • importing cinema 4d file extracted nulls not lining up

I have a scene built in cinema 4d. i have brought in the render of it and the project file into after effects. the render and project file line up, great. In cinema 4d i had put an external compositing tag on a bunch of objects to get nulls in after effects, but in after effects, the nulls don’t line up, they’re close but not right on. I tried baking the camera animation, but it didn’t help.

if i switch cineware to comp camera and use the extracted cam, the the nulls and c4d layer line up but the render is off. is there something that i am missing?

I’m having this exact problem – any suggestions, all the nulls/lights that I extract are very slightly off.

The problem is usually the wrong camera is selected in C4D or the frame rates don’t match up.

If we could see a project file, that would be more likely to help.
