    Hey!

What is best way to import canon mxf files to premiere pro cs5.5?

I recorded my project files with frame rate of 50.

I can see and import files through media browser but when I import those files frame rate drops to 25?

Is there any way that I can keep frame rate of 50?

It also appears that all recorded files are bit grainy when imported. How is that possible?

    Hello,

I’m owner of a Canon XF100 and I work with Adobe Premiere Pro CS5 on MacBook Pro (Lion OS). I’m shooting my videos in 1920×1024, 50Mo/s, 59.94i fps. In the media browser, I see my footage with the good properties but when I drag them in my sequence, the frame rate pass from 59.94 to 29.97. What I’m doing wrong? Check attached file.

    Thanks for your fast answer.

Hello, your resource file is 59.94i, for us it is 29.97p. The adobe Premiere pro cs5.5 can support the Canon MXF video 59.94i with AMA plugin, but the plugin will natively deinterlace the 59.94i to 29.97p.

Do you have recorded some 1080 60p, 50p AVCHD videos? How to get them to edit with iMovie?
