is anyone familiar with importing camera data into c4d?
I’m working with a rig that can produce a .aec, but is there any way to pull this into c4d?
Or even throw it around in Excell to make it another file? I’m working in v8 but I’ll have v9 before the week is over if that makes a difference….

In R9 you will find a handy tool named ASCII Importer. You can use it to load animation data from CSV/ASCII files.

I don’t think you can import an .aec file directly.

The system you are using. What are all the formats it can write to?

I was checking this out a about a year ago, and correct me if I’m wrong but the animation of the Camera in AE changed from 5.5 to 6.
Earlier it was animated using “regular” rotation parameters but then changed to “point of interest” animation. That basicaly makes it pretty akward to translate it to Cinema. I’d also be happy if anyone have a neat solution.

    Cheers
