Importing C4D Models
Hi All,
i’m tyring to import a c4d model into 3D invig.
is there something i’m doing wrong?
i go to “import 3D model” and select my .c4d model, but i get the error message that says
“this C4D file was unable to be imported. Perhaps the wrong format was selected, or the file is of an unsupported version”
HELP???????

Hi Dante,
Here is what the FAQ at the Zaxwerks site says:
“C4D – The Invigorator reads and writes version 5 format which is exported by the GO! version of Cinema 4D.”
I use Maya but when I have to work on C4D I always export to (Wavefront 0bj) using the free plug-in named
“UV Mapper” https://www.uvmapper.com. I also use this plug-in to generate a new UV map, save it and import it into PS or AE to paint it before applying it to my object.If I am not wrong, C4D 9 also exports to 3DS, what should work.
