importing batch list
I am trying to import my log notes from a spreadsheet program, Excel, but it’s not working. I’ve used the basic headings such as Media Start, Media End, Reel, Name. etc., saved the file as a text (tab delimited) file and then thru FCP attempted to import this information to a new folder in the browser. Each time FCP gives me a prompt “one or more items on the header line do not match valid Browser column headers” and then “error reading batch list.” I’ve reviewed my headings in my spreadsheet and I can’t seem to figure out what the problem is. I greatly appreciate whatever help you can provide. Thanks for your time.

Limit your FCP headings to the ones you have in your Excel file.
