Importing AVI’s
I am trying to import vob files from a DVD that I have converted to avi files into Adobe Premiere Pro. Once I import the file in Premiere I can view the video and hear the audio in the source monitor. But after I drop the clip on the timeline and try to play it, all I get is a black screen with no sound. Xvid is the video codec.
I tried converting the vob files the mpegs and try again- but got the same results. This time Adobe froze and shut down whenever I would try to play the mpeg files on the timeline.
Any help would be appreciated!
