importing AVI to FCP
I have few video clips shot by Canon Powershot A590 on a SD card.
The video clips are on avi format.
How can i import to FCP5 for editing.
I am learning FCP, so step by step.Thanks

Use MPEG Streamclip to convert the media. What you convert it to depends on exactly what format, size, frame rate the original media is.

to convert avi file what should I choose as a ouput codec from MPEG Streamclip for editing in FCP 5????
My final is going to be just a DVD to play on TV and comp.
