    Hello all

For a lot of workflow reasons and various problems, I ended up trying to import very big quicktime DV PAL movies into MC4. But as you know the MXF transcoding would be very very long… so I tried this workflow :

    – Import the files into premiere
    – In Media Encoder export them into Film P2 ( PAL DV settings in that case )
    – Use Import P2 > CLips to Bin
    – Consolidate.

Well, it’s a lot faster but it doesn’t import the audio…
I tried importing with the AMA link to volume tool but I got the error “cm label not unique”.

Anyone else tried it ? Or any idea why the old P2 import works better than the AMA ? I didn’t install any drivers from Panasonic…

If you import DV Quicktimes with 601 video levels, you should get a fast import.
