  Importing and Using jpegs

  Hi,
  I recently tried to import a jpeg of an historic etching from a DVD. The original on the DVD looks great but when I bring it into Vegas and put it on the timeline is sort of falls apart, very grainy. I did a search on this subject but didn’t find a conclusive answer. If anyone knows of a thread about how to bring older graphics like this in I’d appreciate it if they could point me towards it. The size of the original jpeg is 3237 x 2079
