importing an AC3/EC3 file from Audition CC to Premiere pro CC
Good morning Premiere Pro CC2014’s help states that the AC3 EC3 audios formats are compatible. Each time I try to import such files in premiere from Audition CC, I get an error message saying this is not the case. Has anyone a clue about this discrepancy ,or is it a problem I have with the installation of either programms? I have posted a message on Adobe’s forums related to both programms and get no answer. I searched here the forum but obviously the matter has never been encoutered. Youtube’s search is of no help either.

Premiere Pro does not currently support importing of 5.1 AC3 or EC3 files, though this support is anticipated for an upcoming release.

Thanks for the info Durin, but in that case the help file should not give false information; I’m not concerned by hypothetical developments in the future when I edit a video; I’m acting in the present! I can’t understand this attitude of Adobe always stating things before they have happened or been realized.
