  • Importing a logo with transparent logo from Photoshop CS3 to FCP 6.06?

Posted by Dave Anderson on October 13, 2009 at 6:15 am

I’m trying to import a logo with a solid interior and transparent background from Photoshop into FCP. But every time I try to bring it over (tiff, psd, jpeg etc) the background goes from transparent to solid black to sold white. Am I doing something wrong?

    Thanks.

I had this same problem about 2 weeks ago.

Right click on the image file in FCP. Select Properties>Format. There should be a selection to alter the Alpha channels. I am not in front of an editing machine right now, Im just working from memory. Hope I could help!
