    Anybody knows how to save or save as an imported audio file from Vegas to soundforge 8??

    I managed to import the file in SF8, did the tweaking, but I am not sure about the saving process, does SF save only the audio or both the audio inside the video file, when I tried to save SF gave me a few options, I chose to save internally, so it saved it as a separate .wav file that I had to import in Vegas, is that the right way to do it???

    right click on the Vegas timeline, choose “Open Copy in Editor” and if you’ve gbot the Vegas prefs pointing to SF, it’ll open. Modify, then simply close SF down, it’ll ask you to save the file. Choose “Yes.”
    The newly savedfile will be on the timeline in Vegas, exactly in sync. Be careful to not shorten the file, only edit it for volume, EQ, etc.

    Cool, so just exit and and say yes when asking to save??

    That’s too easy 😉

    [UPDATE}

    I shutdown SF but nowit’s asking me

    Unable to save all metadata of the file

    Would you like to save it in an external file?

    Thanks a lot.
