Import/export highest quilty FCP
I’ve been using Final Cut Pro for a while but it just seems that the quality of my footage isn’t as great as it should be. I’m using a Sony PD170 with a Letus DOF adapter but when I import and export it seems like the quality of it all isn’t at its best. What should I set my import and export options to to get the best result from it?

How are you loading in the footage? Is it Via Firewire off the camera or from a deck? B/c that is a direct data transfer and there is NO image loss.
How r u viewing ur footage? On an external monitor? B/c The FCP canvas is Not the way to judge footage quality.
What r u Exporting to?

I’m importing using a firewire and exporting it using the standard settings of a quicktime movie. I’m judging my video as a quicktime file mainly and then also how it looks on youtube.
