I posted this in the FCP forum, got hasn’t gotten a reply yet, I’m in urgent need of a solution for this, please help.

I imported a project from FCP to Premiere to do some further editing on a project someone started in FCP as I don’t really use it and I’m very slow with it.
I did all my edits on Premiere Pro, everything got imported correctly, I added some Illustrator logos, made some cuts and everything is ok.

When I tried to export the project back to FCP so the original editor can continue working on it, the audio is falling out of sync, by a second or so, and not in all clips, so I can’t just select my audio tracks and pull them back altogether. Some transitions are gone and of course the .ai logos are gone too.

I can deal with all of that but the audio syncing thing, that pretty much sent me back to zero, if someone could point me in the right direction as to how to fix really soon I will be very grateful

    Thanks a lot.

On further inspection, I just noticed that it’s not actually out of sync, one of the clips just went mute. The dB shows 0 but there’s no sound, I increased it above it and double clicked it and played it independently with no results. However in Premiere it plays out fine.

How can I get the sound back to it?

    Thanks.
