Imported wav file keeps going into slot Audio 4 in Prem Pro. Don’t know why.
Hi, newbie here trying to find his way around Prem Pro. Doing okay so far but I’ve come across an issue I cannot find a solution to.
I have imported my video (Video 1) and internal audio (Audio 1) into my sequence.
I have a separate audio file which I recorded on an external device. I have imported the wav file into the sequence but it keeps going into slow Audio 4. I’m thinking it should be going into Audio 2?
Any help much appreciated.

What version of Premiere Pro are you using? At some point (I think CS6) they introduced “flexible” audio tracks which allow stereo/mono tracks in the same mixing track. Before that, however, a mono track would be forcefully created if your only existing tracks were stereo tracks in the timeline – this may be the case here and there is no way to get around it.
